We love our neighbors!

Galatians 5:18

“If you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”

Are you enjoying your freedom today?

You are free! You live in the U.S.A., where God has blessed us with many earthly freedoms. And even more so, you are free because you are a citizen of heaven, an adopted child and heir of the King of kings!

But what does it mean to be free? Certainly, it does NOT mean doing whatever we want at the expense of those around us. That would not honor our Heavenly Father or our Savior, nor would it reflect the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, nor would it show love for our neighbor.

You are free! Free because you are led by the Spirit to produce fruits — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control — that honor your God and show love to your neighbor. That is living in TRUE freedom.

So enjoy your freedom, brothers and sisters. The freedom won for you when Jesus loved YOU, all the way to the cross. The freedom that asks God, “Who can I serve for you today, Lord?”
