The ultimate prize!

“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.”

My favorite Christmas gift ever was my first set of golf clubs. I was so excited!

And where are those clubs now? I have no idea. Maybe some garbage pile?

Can you think of anything that doesn’t wear out, break down, or spoil? Our clothes, TV’s, homes, food – it all spoils or wears out or breaks down. One wise person once said this about cars: “Remember that every car is on a one-way trip to a junkyard.”

And yet how often don’t we spend our time focused on those things, even though we know that they don’t last?

There’s only one thing that does last – Jesus! Jesus’ work – dying for you and rising for you – the results of that will live forever. Focus on Jesus and his love and you’ll continue to be blessed with the one – and only – thing that will last forever.
