Sing a Reformation Song! || Nov. 3, 2024

In 1524 the first Lutheran hymnal was published with just 8 hymns. It was such a success, it was quickly followed by 2 more the same year, solidifying that the Lutheran Church values music and singing. Since it’s the 500th anniversary of those hymnals, we’ll celebrate the Reformation today by singing our way through some of the key truths God allowed Luther and others to bring back to light, primarily using hymns from those 1524 hymnals. Some of these hymns are more difficult to sing, but the theology within each is deep and excellent. May God bless our singing!
