Jesus changes everything!

Philemon 15

“Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever—…”

“Now that changes everything!” Getting some surprise news can lead us to say that. “You got that big promotion? That changes everything!” Perhaps Packers fans were thinking “that changes everything” when the Micah Parsons trade took place.

What actually DOES change everything? What actually does change everything is what Jesus did! Jesus’ death paid for our sins! Jesus’ resurrection proves that salvation is complete! Jesus promises that he’s even now preparing a place for us in heaven! Jesus changes everything!

And Jesus’ work changes how we view day-to-day events, too. As God rules the world, he does so with eternity in his view! God wants people in heaven! He’ll allow – and cause – events to take place in order to further that heaven-focused agenda. So when we see things we don’t understand, or things happen to us which seem hard or surprising, we’re able to be confident. God is ruling all things for the purpose of getting us to heaven. And that changes everything!

Just like you, thankful that Jesus changed everything,
