He tried to curse God!?

Ephesians 1:4-6

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship n through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.”

One of my favorite truths to think about at this time of year is the doctrine of predestination. In short, that truth tells the believer that God has chosen them as his own before the world was ever created. To put it differently, it tells us that God has loved us forever!

If God has loved you forever, does it make sense that he’ll love you in this little slice of time called “2024?” Of course, it does.

Know that God has loved you forever! (Want proof? You believe in Jesus! You’re reading this, and believing it! You’re baptized!) And, knowing that God has loved you forever, be assured that God will love you, guide you, and guard you each second of 2024.

Thankful, just like you, that God’s loved me forever,
