Hi all!
As many of you know, Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc on much of the Southeast. Included in that hard-hit area is the region in which Beth and I used to live, so this is personal for me/my family. The congregation for which I was the first pastor and at which I served for 22 years – Living Word Lutheran in Gray, TN – is serving as a flood relief donation center, working with the local United Way to collect and distribute aid. If you desire to make a donation, please click on the link below. This could be a neat way for some of us to live our God-lived life of service, of shrewdness, of generosity.
May Jesus bless our brothers and sisters, and may Jesus use this challenge as an opportunity to connect more people to Himself.
Yours,
pastor
