Be Still and Know || Christian Education Sunday 2024

God urges parents to teach their children the Word of God and urges older generations to pass it along to the younger generations. How valuable! Today we celebrate the wonderful honor that we have in doing this, under the theme “Be Still and Know.” Be still?!? With all that’s happening around us?!? Yes, God encourages—and urges—us to “be still.” Why? Because he’s our God! Let’s explore that thought together in songs, readings, and short sermon messages. (“Be Still and Know” is the theme for our school this year, echoing the theme of our partner high school, Wisconsin Lutheran High School.)
